This Salami and Aged Cheddar on Sourdough totally fits the bill for portable and cheese platter deliciousness. Arugula adds some earthy spiciness while balsamic glaze brings some sweetness to the party.
- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons dijon mustard
- 6 slices genoa salami
- 2 slices aged cheddar cheese
- 1 small handful arugula
- Place the 2 slices of sourdough on a flat surface. Spread each slice of bread with 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise and 1 teaspoon of dijon mustard.
- Layer 3 pieces of salami on each sandwich half. Place the cheddar on 1 half of the sandwich, top with the arugula, and then sandwich together with the other half.
