A Galentine’s Day Pizza Party inspired by Karen’s Kitchen Stories!
Do you celebrate Galentine’s Day? Well you should. There is no shortage of amazing women in this world and I bet you know at least one, so you should set up a dinner date with her and celebrate this special day with some sourdough pizza and a pink cocktail!
Today is all about the food bloggers and the love! #FoodBloggerLove is an annual event where we switch names Secret Santa style and show some virtual love to our fellow food bloggers. My secret food blogger is Karen from Karen’s Kitchen Stories and let me tell you about this cool lady: She has kept a sourdough starter alive for EIGHT YEARS! Holy majoley that is a lot of years. I kept one alive for mayyyybe six months.
If you haven’t made pizza crust with a sourdough starter then you need to take a hint from Karen (and me) and do it now. She also has this fab recipe for extra cheesy garlic bread that definitely lives up to its name!
Of course we can’t have a girls’ night without a pretty cocktail, so I made a Blood Orange Champagne (recipe below) to celebrate the occasion. Go follow Karen’s Kitchen Stories on Instagram and check out the recipes I’ve linked below in the menu plus all of her other tasty dishes!
