Sandwich Bar

Sandwich Bar from ChefSarahElizabeth.com

How do you feel about sandwiches? My husband makes them for his work lunches, we have them on the weekends for lunch, and of course we’ll eat grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup. David will not give his money to a sandwich place. He says sandwiches are so easy to make, and they’re boring, that it’s a waste of money to pay someone else to make one for you. Haha. I can’t help but chuckle about the fact that he has such strong feelings about sandwiches. I personally could go for a piping hot meatball sandwich with melting provolone cheese any day of the week. I make them for dinner whenever we have leftover meatballs. I usually add extra cheese and serve them open face with a fork and knife. And a salad. Because I’m a mom and I have no choice but to squeeze in extra veggies whenever I can.

I think this sandwich bar is a great idea for a party. No cooking on your part – just set it all out in an appealing arrangement, then everybody gets to put their favorites together. Serve with a green salad, fruit skewers, and chips for an easy party meal.
