Cookie Decorating Favor Bags from ChefSarahElizabeth.com

Cookie Decorating Favor Bags are such a fun favor to give out at any party. Abby’s 9th birthday party was a dessert theme, so we thought up this idea to hand out to her friends. Homemade sugar cookies and everything you need to decorate them with at home! Plus a cookie cutter to help you make your own at home. You could also attach a cookie recipe to the bags, too!

For our bags, we included a bundle of perfectly soft(ish) sugar cookies, an icing tube, a few vials of sprinkles, and a cookie cutter. Next time I would also attach the cookie recipe, and maybe add some homemade frosting.

I found large smoothie straws at the grocery store which were perfect for my sprinkle vials. I cut the straws into about 3-inch pieces, burned one end to melt it together, filled with sprinkles, then burned the other end to seal it! When ready to use, just snip off the end and pour out the sprinkles!
