Pink and Gold Baby Shower – No Games Allowed!

Pink and Gold Baby Shower from ChefSarahElizabeth.com

A month and a half ago we celebrated Madeline’s first birthday. About thirteen months before that, we celebrated her mother with a pink and gold baby shower where there were no games allowed. Elyse was hesitant to even have a baby shower in the first place. By the time we convinced her that it was happening with or without her, she agreed to the party, but insisted there be no traditional silly baby shower games. Instead, we had a lovely women-only party with good food, great company, and no games. Jenn and I wanted to have some sort of activity so instead of games, we made headbands for Madeline. We had all sorts of bows, ribbons, and frills. We sat around chatting about the future and making tons of pretty headbands for Madeline. It was a lovely evening and I am so happy I was able to be part of the planning and throwing!
